Transferring from a University in the U.S.
If you have attended a university or college in the U.S. and wish to transfer to IUPUI and earn your degree here, then you are a Transfer Student.
If you wish to enroll at IUPUI only for the summer or for one semester and transfer the IUPUI credits back to your home university, then you are a Visiting Student.
What you need to know:
- The process is easy
- If you hold a student visa (F1), then you will also need to transfer your SEVIS record to IUPUI
- Submit your official university transcripts to the Office of International Affairs at IUPUI
- The OIA will facilitate the posting of your transfer credit to your IUPUI record via the Admissions Center

- Make sure to select the university you have attended in the section of the application that asks you which post-secondary institutions you have attended.
